How do I become a volunteer teacher?

To join our team of passionate educators, simply fill out the Teacher Registration Form above. We welcome individuals who are eager to share their knowledge and inspire students.

Can I choose the subjects I want to teach?
Absolutely! We encourage teachers to build classes around their passions. You have the freedom to design the curriculum, style, and structure of your classes.
What is the cost to teach?

There is no cost to teach classes with Misfit Mash-Op. Please be advised that you are fully responsible for your supply list, and it is highly recommended to consider all potential costs when pricing your class. While you may have access to resources from other teachers, Misfit Mash-Op does not maintain inventory or funds for additional resources.

How does class registration work?

Once teacher sign-ups are in, we build the class schedule and open enrollment to families. When student registration closes, you’ll receive your class roster and full payment—sent via Venmo, PayPal, or cash, based on your preference. Misfit Mash-Op covers all processing fees so you keep 100% of what your class payment.

What resources are available for teachers?
Our Comprehensive Resource Library offers a wide array of teaching materials and lesson plans tailored to various subjects and age groups—plus access to experienced co-op teachers who are happy to share ideas, advice, and tried-and-true tips to help you succeed.
Is there a mentorship program for new teachers?
Yes, we offer a Mentorship Program that connects new teachers with experienced educators. This program provides guidance, insights, and support to help you develop your teaching skills.
