About Mash-Op

Founded by Danielle Liguori, Misfit Mash-Op was born from a desire to offer high-quality educational opportunities at a price that families can afford. Observing the high costs of traditional co-ops, Danielle committed to creating a space where learning is accessible to everyone. Our secular organization hosts classes in public spaces, allowing children to learn and play, while parents only pay for the classes they need. We are proud to offer volunteer opportunities for teenagers, fostering a sense of community and responsibility.

Ms Aly

About Me

Hi! My name is Aly, and I’m so excited to be teaching a class for our younger learners! I’m a mom of three and a homeschool mom myself, so I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

I currently work in the mental health field and am also studying psychology. I have experience working with children of different ages and abilities, and I’m passionate about creating an inclusive, patient, and welcoming environment where every child can participate and learn in their own way.

I believe young children learn best through hands-on activities, creativity, exploration, and—most importantly—having fun! I’m looking forward to getting to know your children and being part of their homeschool journey! 💛

Ms Cynthia

I am a former Nanny and preschool teacher with 20 years of experience, but my passion for working with kids is as vibrant as the day I started. We started homeschooling because it is a gift to be able to do so and I’m so excited to meet the community that I have heard so many wonderful things about!

Ms Danielle

Danielle here… 6 years deep in homeschooling magic! I have helped graduate my two younger siblings. My oldest (17) is a national athlete and we have been balancing athletics, socialization, and intense academics (including two college courese- one being three weeks away at Syracuse University). My partner-in-crime and 7-year-old daughter is whirlwind of stories, crafts, and chaos. I’m also an Indepedent Education Consultant, run crazy craft classes through Well Played Enrichment, and run Bursting Barn- all about small space homesteading.

But back to co-op: I started Misfits in 2025 as a way to help families bring a little structure to their lives without rigorous rules and accessibility barriers. It has since grown to over 40 families in over 6 locations. Building this huge community has been such an adventure! But most importantly: it’s given me an opportunity to bring organized chaos to our students! I’m the Queen of Crazy and like to bring to life out-of-the-ordinary classes to students. Whether it’s being insanely messy or a little risky… I don’t shy away. I believe students should be equipped with the life skills to thrive and want to provide a safe space to explore them.

Hi! I’ve been a teacher and school program director for the past 15 years, most recently as the Director of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Experiential Learning at a South Jersey high school. I’m certified in 7–12 ELA, but more than anything, I love creating classes where students can think out loud, ask big questions, and connect what they’re learning to real life.
I’m a new homeschool parent (our son, Kieran, is 8). I care deeply about partnering with families and creating learning spaces that feel thoughtful, engaging, and supportive to all learners.

Ms Kelly C

Hi! I’m Kelly, a Christian homeschooling mom of five with a heart for helping the next generation grow in confidence, purpose, and direction. Over the years, I’ve spent a lot of time studying and teaching mindset, personal growth, and real-life skills – especially how our thoughts, habits, and decisions shape the direction of our lives. I’m passionate about helping teens build a strong foundation early, so they don’t just drift through life but instead learn how to think for themselves, make wise choices, and step into who they were created to be. My goal is to create a space where students feel comfortable, challenged, and encouraged while also gaining practical tools they can actually use in everyday life. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family, homeschooling, and finding ways to build a life that reflects our values and faith.

Ms Stacie

Hello Families,

I’m excited to meet you! I am a NJ State certified teacher in both PS-3 and K-12 Health and Physical Education, with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Instruction from TCNJ. I have 23 years of experience in the field of Education, with 15 of those years passionately serving the early childhood education community. Most recently, my professional roles included Regional Director of Education and Preschool Director for private preschools in the Philadelphia and South Jersey region.

I specialize in helping young children build strong foundations across all domains of learning, empowering them to become confident, capable learners. My play-based educational sessions nurture social-emotional readiness while fostering early literacy & math concepts, fine & gross motor development, and STEAM through engaging, hands-on, theme-based learning experiences. Every session offers a thoughtfully designed rhythm that balances active exploration, social connection, and creativity. Children transition naturally between teacher-guided experiences and child-led play, allowing learning to feel joyful, purposeful, and developmentally appropriate.

I look forward to partnering with your family during this exciting season of learning!
